Instructions for how to use:
- Measure 100g of Poultry Porridge.
- Boil water and then measure 150ml.
- Combine the hot water with the Poultry Porridge, stirring until the pellets become a mash.
- Adjust by adding more water if needed to achieve the preferred consistency.
- Serve to your poultry immediately.
Quantity to feed:
- Chickens eat approximately 130g per head per day. If you are spreading it out as a treat, you can mix 100g with 100ml of water for a delicious treat for approximately 5 to 7 hens.
- It is up to you how much you provide when giving it as a treat. Chickens and other poultry absolutely LOVE the porridges, so the more you put out, the more they eat!
- Note that the Plain Mash will need to be fed in conjunction with a pellet or grain blend to ensure optimal nutrition for your flock.

How many chickens will a 950g pack of Poultry Porridge feed?
Chickens eat approximately 130g per head per day. Thus, a 950g pack of the porridge would feed approximate 7.3 chickens for 1 day if it was the only form of feed they had access to. However, it is recommended to use the Plain Mash as a treat as it does not include necessary vitamins and minerals. When used as a treat, you can mix 100g mash + 150ml of water to feed 5 to 7 hens. That means you can offer 9 to 10 servings for 5 to 7 hens of the Super Mash as a treat.
