Frequently Asked Questions
What are Nesty Rooster Glasses used for?
They are designed to reduce aggressive behaviour such as pecking, bullying, and fighting by limiting forward vision, helping create a calmer flock.
Will the glasses harm my chickens or affect their wellbeing?
No, when fitted correctly they are safe and humane. Chickens can still eat, drink, and move around normally while wearing them.
How do I fit the rooster glasses?
They are gently attached through the nostrils using the included pin. No permanent damage is caused, and they can be removed if needed.
How long should chickens wear the glasses?
Typically 1–2 weeks is enough to break aggressive habits, but they can be used longer if required depending on behaviour.
Can all chickens wear rooster glasses?
They are suitable for most standard-sized chickens, especially aggressive birds or dominant hens/roosters. Not recommended for very young chicks or very small breeds.
It was a little difficult with one person to put on, however, the chickens are completely fine with them on, immediately back to their normal activities.

Bought these to stop some violence within the flock and it did work right away. Took two of us to get them on however. Great value for the price though.
