What are the best superfoods for chickens?

Whole seeds and grains for foraging, a calcium source for shells, omega rich seeds like linseed and sunflower for feathers, and a proper vitamin and mineral blend. Nesty Superfoods puts all of them in one pouch, balanced by animal nutritionists.

How do I feed Superfoods?

Mix it 50:50 with your everyday feed. If you normally feed 1kg a day, use 500g of regular feed and 500g of Superfoods. It's a concentrate designed to be diluted, though you can also feed it out as a snack during stress or a drop in laying. Introduce gradually and keep fresh water available.

What can I add to chicken feed to increase egg production?

Calcium, protein and a full vitamin and mineral profile. Superfoods adds Calciprill and shell grit for 6% calcium, 17% protein and double concentrate vitamins and minerals, mixed 50:50 into any feed to support laying when egg numbers or shell quality drop.

What should I feed chickens during moulting?

Extra protein and the right nutrients for feather regrowth. Superfoods brings 17% protein from soybean, peas and sunflower, linseed omega 3, and double concentrate vitamins and minerals to help hens hold condition and grow feathers back.

What's the difference between Superfoods and Super Mash?

Superfoods is a dry premix you mix straight into everyday feed at 50%, with double concentrate vitamins and minerals. Super Mash is a warm wet mash you serve on its own as a daily meal or treat. What age can chickens start Superfoods?

From point of lay, around 18 weeks. It's formulated for laying poultry and isn't recommended for birds under 18 weeks.
