    Safflower Seeds

Safflower seeds are an oil-rich ingredient valued for their high content of unsaturated fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid. They provide a natural source of energy and contribute to a glossy coat and healthy skin when included in feed formulations. With moderate protein and fibre levels, safflower seeds also enhance feed texture and palatability.

Feed as a supplement only. Use alongside a balanced poultry feed, not as a complete diet.

    Serving method:
Mix into feed or scatter on the ground to encourage natural foraging.

    Feeding rate:
Offer in moderation, up to 10–15% of the total diet.

    When to use:
Ideal during moulting, cold weather, or stress for added energy and feather support.

    Storage:
Keep in a cool, dry place in a sealed container to maintain freshness.

      Easy and affordable treat

My chickens love the safflower seeds as a treat! They come running and there are no seeds left after the stampede and it's easy to see the seeds as they are white and they stand out on the grass and dirt. Thanks nesty box for giving me another treat option for my chickens!

Weren't these a huge hit with my ladies. Demolished and they know where I keep the packet so each morning they now go and stand there waiting for more - if not the safflower seeds then another Nesty treat.
