Chicken Shellgrit

Provide shellgrit in a separate container or feeder alongside your chickens’ regular feed. Do not mix it directly into their feed, as chickens will naturally regulate how much they need.

Ensure shellgrit is available at all times, especially for laying hens, as their calcium requirements increase during egg production.

Place the container in a dry, easily accessible area within the coop or run. Check regularly and top up as needed to maintain a constant supply.

For best results, use shellgrit as part of a balanced diet that includes a quality complete feed and fresh water.

Suitable for all poultry, but most important for laying hens to support strong eggshells and overall health.

First Aid: Rinse eyes with water if exposed. If dust is inhaled, move to fresh air. Seek advice if irritation persists.
